RE: A climb up the tallest tower

That makes sense now that you mention it.

I thought of doing it cause I figured you'd get a kick out if a 'Toban got his name in! Especially someone you know!

LOL and if you won you could use the ticket to pay for part of the trip on the trian to get your train ticket. I wonder how far a $100 VIA rail ticket gets you nowadays? At least you don't have to climb any tall structures! Nice to know i'm not the only one who heights climbing ladders. I can be up in a tower, and in a plane, but don't leave me hanging on a ladder!

I love planes but no towers for this cowboy. Not a chance.

My kids still laugh about me having to cross the Mackinac bridge using only the fast lane.

I used to climb forestry towers and after you get high enough so that you will get seriusly hurt if you fall (Ie above the trees) it  bothers you about the same amount all the way up. That being said the video still took my breath away.

The only part that really bugged me was going outside the ladder onto the frame to fix the wind gauges.  I think I left some fingerprints in the steel that are probably still there!

You would hate to be a heavy guy climbing on those flimsy foot holds!

When I was younger we would hop the fence to the local towers. When we got to the top we would sit on the back bracing plate and have a beer. It was a lot of fun but I also do swing stage work for a living.
