I was there tonight and they couldn't get a starting bid of $12,000 on a really nice 70 GTO, black with Judge stripes and a red interior. That may change tomorrow with more attendees.

Nice cars or not, after some of the trickery the Electric garage people have played in the past I'll forever make a point to be suspect of also stay as far away as possible from anything they have to do with!.

This is one of those off the wall questions. Both cars pictured are 1970 GTO's both have rally II wheels but each one has different centre caps, First car has black PMD centtres and second car has red PMD centres confuse

Which ones belong on the 1970??

Q:  Center Caps
 Are the center cap`s on the stock rim`s supposed to have the Pontiac emblem, or the letter`s PMD ? Mine are a black backround with PMD in red capitol`s. Which one should it be ? I think I`ve seen both. Thank`s all.
 
A:All 67-69 and early 70 Pontiac Rallye II wheels got the black centers with the red letters. The change didn't occur until well into the 1970 production run, and most cars had the red by about January or February 1970. LAte 70, and all 71-72 cars got the red centers with black letters, then in 1973 they went to the polished aluminum with the Pontiac arrowhead emblem.
