Grumpys Toys

Seeing its not Canadian Pontiac, let alone Pontiac related, I hope you all don't mind me sharing this here.
I finally completed writing my first full length book and needless to say Im quite happy about it. Don't let anyone tell you this is an easy job.
Though he's not doing to well at this time, it was a pleasure to "chew the fat" with the Grumpy one over the past couple of years. Theirs no way this could have been done with out his input and approval.

Congrats! I'm stuck in editing right now and I keep dodging it with short story work. It's a great achievement.

Congrats on the book. I didn't know you were a writer (maybe we need a thread titled "What do you do for a living")? Will you do a book signing?

Their will be a book signing, when and where I don't know. I know CarTech is working on setting something up. Hopefully Southern California, say in January or February?

So you are Doug Boyce? Are you any relation to Terry Boyce, author of  "Chevy Super Sports 1961 - 1976"? I picked up my copy in the 1980s and I have read the covers off the thing.

For sure I will pick up a copy of your book. I am a Grumpy fan.

Saw one of Grumps Vegas sell at Scotsdale a few years ago. He was there for the sale. What a character he is! Hope his health situation turns around for him.

Its a good read for sure, but Im a fan and the author so thats easy for me to say. The book does cover birth to present, all of the Grumpys Toys, The Old Reliables and the Chryslers cars. Help through out did come from most of Bill's past employees and the likes of Mike Strickler, Jere Stahl and Bud Faubel. Those names should ring a bell for a few of you "old timers".

Hey its sounds like we're going to need a bus for this Feb. trip.
