The car came with some manuals/brochures.  They dont seem to be for Canadian model Pontiacs though.  I was thinking of selling them on kijiji.  Any ideas what these things go for?

probably not minding my own business, but i personnally would keep those with the car, they are kind of cool to have since they are all 1954

I see where youre coming from, and I would tend to agree, if they were for the Canadian model, but they are all from USA Pontiacs.  I was thinking of keeping them anyway, at least til they were replaced with the Canadian ones.

Are you sure it is a Canadian one?  I do see the french on the cover, but I also see the body style of the American cars in the picture.  Under vehicles covered, does it say anywhere that it covers model 20-69 WD?

You see them at swap meets for $15 up to $75 (and up for super rare ones). The average is about $25.

Sorry, ive been working on the mopar. (thats probably just like swearing around here!) :) My 1966 Chrysler 300. (that im selling because of my 54 Pontiac - Too much to do, too little time, and having 4 vehicles in a 1 driver home, REALLY starts taking up space!)

Ok, Mopar is sold.  Sad to see her go, but I do want to put my attention into the Laurentian....  I know the new owner, so at least I know she will be well taken care of!

i am 100% sure , the back cover says GENERAL MOTORS PRODUCTS OF CANADA, LIMITED - OSHAWA, ONTARIO printed in Canada 12/53
and the Laurentian 4 doors is in there page 9

Went and saw Norm at Mid Canada Suspension today for the E-Brake cable.   He definitely knows his stuff, and where to get things!  He ships world wide, so anyone looking for parts, hes worth the call!

Be aware with this manual, since there is no other one anywaynono, most of the page are for Chevy, and for the 49-52 series. The supplement for the PG is correct but not really complete (I think about the oil pressure test reading). The engine section is correct and accurate on spec. The carb section is OK too.

Its been awhile, but im back doing some work on my 54. :)

After being up on jack stands for what seems forever, the carb is done, breaks, emergency cable, motor mounts, and a few other little things, shes back on all four tires, and even went for a little test cruise around the block. :)

The engine is running GREAT! The steering handles very well, she shifts very smoothly, BUT....

The trany seems to be making some noise. :( I didnt check the trany or diff fluid levels, probably a bad mistake before taking her out.

Either way, were moving along again! :)

Fitz, Do you think you could post a close up of the trany mounts? Just curious what yours look like.

Thanks
