Kelly, if and when you put the stock hub caps on that car can you shoot me a picture? The car looks great. It's so nice but I hope you will drive the heck out of it.

I hope to drive the hell out of it actually.. I mean.. come on.. a decent small block and a four gear car.. gotta drive it!!!
I'll probably end up with the 14" rally wheels on the car so I can use the stock caps. and I'll take a TON of photos with the new camera I got for my birthday last week.. Nothin' but good times, good people, good life.

all is great.

the padded dash was a repop for a 65 goat, and I had it dyed to match the original one. the repopped dash pad was about 1/2 the weight of the original as they dont have the sheet metal backer in them.. go figure.

Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, I'm getting tired of you showing off!!!

On second thought, ignore that. I'm getting jealous maybe, that's all.

You don't have it home yet, do you?

anyone have a place to buy 14 rally wheels for a decent price?
I'll need to get trim rings and centers as well.

Do the hub caps work well with the rallys? Have you tried it? I have a set that I bought from the Monroe swap for 300.00 but I don't know if I over payed. They had plastic after market centers with the stainless rings. I guess I could try to put a cap on one of mine? They were one of those, ( I saw a shinny thing and bought them purchases.) I have had them for years and never used them.

Kelly

Are you talking about the Canadian Pontiac style small centre caps or which caps would you like?

The small disc brakes centers would be cool.. but I'd like to know for sure if the factory caps can work on the rallys.. I just assumed they would.
If you have an opportunity to verify that Paul.. that would be great. I love the look of the rally's anyways.. so it wouldnt be a bad purchase either way.

Thanks for all the positive comments on the car.. I really am excited to drive it..

thank you very much.

If only I could take credit for doing the majority of the work.
The restoration shop is top notch for sure.   I did the engine rebuild, frame, suspension, etc.. but the body, paint, interior, wiring etc.. was all Heightion restorations in a small barn like shop outside of calgary.

So I tried the SD hubcap on a 14" rally and it worked. It wasn't as tight as a oem rim but it worked fine. If you interested in those rims Kelly let me know. We could trade also but you know what I need. Those front fender 65 SD rocker pieces and or a full set that is good because the stuff I have is ruff.

Man, I'm in the wrong profession if you're already talking about your next restoration Kelly...
