The grill is pretty ugly. I picture this car black, red guts, doggie hubcaps on black steelies. Then again I picture just about any 2 door post this way!

Pretty rare by now I'm guessing. The 66 has a slightly nicer front. Don't see those too often anymore, though there was a black 390 4 speed 66 Mercury two door sedan for sale in the US recently.

We had a four door when I was a kid. A Bug changed lanes into our front fender and it caved the bug door in about two feet. When the splatter was cleared it hadn't even broke the plasic marker on the corner of the Meteor. It's like a foot long.... I couldn't believe the damage on the bug.

i have a wagon that me and my dad went down to black brothers ford in burnaby and bot new , i always wished he would have picked up the shelby or some of the other cool cars they had but its been a good car 352 auto white with a red int its got lots of old decals on the rear side windows from all the great places it took us too.

This brings back great memories!!!
This was the first car I ever "test drove" at the ripe old age of 13!biggrin It was a 4 door, automatic, same colour, for $100.
I remember, it seemed to do the same speed in reverse, as drive! biggrin (high reverse gear ratio?)
The owner told me that the 352 ci engine was an experimental Mercury engine (I never have researched that information until this day).
The owner also told me it had a "cracked frame". The farmer I did hay for at the time told me to "stay away from it". Wise words ... a hundred bucks was a lot to a 13 year old.

It does have a ugly grill!
