1969 Beaumont Trade

Well I traded one car for another today, it was my 2nd parts car and a friend of mine wanted to sell his car and start a new project so I offered him my parts car and a good chunk of cash for his completed 1957 Chevrolet. He did the car about 10 years ago , it was a 4 year build and offered it to his son on his 16th birthday and his son would not take it ?? confuse He said he had too much time on the car and it just wasn't right for him to accept it. Dad did buy him a  car he wanted.  I Had to convince the wife that my car is still a couple of years away from being finished and the Chevy is turnkey and Show and Shine ready, got to love a wife that listens to a car nuts reasoning. Just got back from taking her for a cruise and out to dinner, The 57 sure turns heads and is a dream to drive, 350 4 spd. Now I am really pumped to get my Beaumont and her done up 350 with the 5 Spd Tremec on the road. Whats the use of having a big shop and not having a FEW toys. biggrin  Later All    Mylo
