Well at least we had a good game in Toronto and it was great to see the Leafs hold on and win. Lots of young guys contributed to this one but at the end of the night the veteran J. S. Giguere was the game star for the Loafs.

Seems that the Oilers are just too much for the Flames tonight, it's 4-0 now so I think we can almost invoke the mercy rule on this one with 10 minutes to go. Good tilt for two periods though. How about Jordan Eberle eh?

Man did you see that bout with 2 minutes to go. Real heavyweights. Never like to see a guy go down like that but man did MacInytre **** Ivanans, down lie a sack of potatoes. This guy is 6'4" and 240 and he just hit the deck hard.

I think they should have dealt the goalie, one of the best there is, and got some talent up front. I have never been a Sutter fan either.

The Flames sure need a shake-up of some sort..don't know if givin up Kipper is the answer..but I do think they only need to look north at the Oilers to see that Youth is the way to go!! Look at those stinkin BlackHawks that beat our Canucks Last year with a bunch of 20 year olds!!!Same deal....A few older guys for leadership and a lot of young guys to get the job done with nothin but hard work! AND they guy we all love to hate... and want at the same time..Bufflin! He killed Vancouver single handedly.

I've said it before but will do so again, here in Toronto in our house we look forward to the late game each Saturday which is usually Edmonton, Calgary or Vancouver. Even last year the Oilers were very entertaining to watch. My son and I just loved that game last night. Jordan Eberle is already a Canadian Hero, this kid has a superstar written all over him. Horcroff, Hemsky, Gagner, did I ever mention Sam played on one of my teams? add in Hall and Paajarvi plus I'm a huge Dustin Penner fan...its going to be a good year!

I'll go easy from now on, the team actually looks pretty good.  I like Raffi Torres addition. N0t having Alex Burrows in the line up hurts a lot. I know the superstars are there but in my mind Burrows is one of the teams most important guys.
