Wow, Wow, Wow, this year is sooo much better. These girls are just so sexy, man what a group and the guys can skate. Head Judge Sandra Bezic is just Oooozing sex appeal, man I love this show. Hockey and Figure Skating, can there be anything more Canadian....Oh ya Bure and Gordeeva, Russian but awesome.

I never thout I would sit around and watch FIGURE SKATING, but this is entertaining....
Great idea.
If I tried lifting the girl friend up the way those hockey players do, I'd have a thrown back, a skate to the head, and a 2.2 score. no

I watched that too Ray. Pretty cool, I actually liked JR and Brett Hull, they did a great job. Valerie Bure was amazing with his partner and Jamie Sale with Theo Fleury, who would guess ? Larouque was good too

I ran into Brett Hull at the airport last Sunday coming in to do the show. He was a pretty nice guy, stopped to talk when I said "hey Brett, how's it going?" I agree JR is really entertaining and thoughtful, it was a great choice. Did I mention that i am goo goo over Sandra Bezic ?? date.gif

Anyway the show is a lot of fun and the skating is so ahead of last season's already. The choices to eliminate couples have been really hard and emotional

The girls that skate in pairs are very tiny, I'm sure under 100lbs soaking wet.  I worked Skate Canada & Cdn Figure Skating Championships with my satellite truck back in the early 90's, and was surprised to see how tiny they were.

Time to update this thread. - Nov, 7, 2010

Tonight Sandra Bezic was absolutely alluring in a beautiful red dress wearing her poppy proudly, she is just a beautiful woman.

Toller Cranston was guest judge and as I would expect he told it the way it was, often attracting Booos from the crowd.

This competition seems to be coming down to Patrice Briseboise and Shae-Lynn Bourne:

All the women are terrific, Jamie Salle is Canada's sweetheart and I love Shae-Lynn, she is just absolutely awesome, sexy and poised, what a combination but I have to admit the Russian girl has stolen my heart.

The best thing about this is that the entire family watches this show together (well at least when they're here).

THey were all great today. Kelly Chase's brother Kyle is one of the owner manager's of my son's Jr A Team the Sherwood Park Crusaders so we are watching him. Kelly used to play for St Louis as an enforcer.

Carl , I hope to see your granddaughter on there too, that would be so cool !!

PJ Stock rides third seat on the morning show of the radio station my radio's stuck on. I was kinda glad he got bumped early ... I want to hear the traffic at that time in the morning .. not a 20 review of yesterday's TV viewing.

Here we go. All TV's will be tuned in to the "People's Channel" tonight here at The Cave. That's right, Battle of The Blades this evening. And it's grinding down to the finals. Oh, the stress of it all.
I hope I'm not becoming *%$$%@###$# sensitive or something? Whats next, burgers made from Tofu?
I would love to be in the front row and have Shae-Lynn come crashing over the fence like a bull at the rodeo finals in Edmonton! Every broken bone would be worth it.aww

Well it's down to the finale, Chase finally got bounced tonight, man he hung on so long, then Cherry goes and votes fror him, even  though the Russians skated circles around Chase and Koyto. Will Cherry ever get over the Enforcer vs. Russian thing ?

As Delta Tango points out we have two of the sexiest skaters left, Shae-Lynn and Ekaterina plus the perky Isabelle Brasser. Man are these women ever talented and the guys are just awesome. I sure wouldn't want to be a judge next Sunday night.
