Incredible Thanksgiving weekend weather here.

I don't ever remember an October 10th like this! Yesterday was real nice too.

Some sights of a quick trip to Northwest Ontario to finish the cottage closing for this year.

Fleetwood road trip. What a great travel car. Too bad about the messy windshield and the glare. The fall "orange" was looking fine.

9:30 Sat morning on our way there and it's already 62*F. Beautiful morning.

Mid to late afternoon at the lake, the tiny breeze that had been there was gone. Amazing....

It's almost hard to see where the real shoreline ends and the reflection begins....

Get up this morning, and what do we see? Same old thing all over again.

Stopped on the way home at Clearwater Bay to spend a couple of hours in the boat. It was almost too warm to have long sleeves. We had no thermometer but my brother said at his cabin it showed 74*F. Little bit of success with the fish at least.

We usually stop at a "chip truck" for fries on the way home. Most of the summer I've been gazing at this sign beside the highway. I think if my spelling was this bad I'd ask for help. This makes a business look so unprofessional. My spelling may not be perfect, but.......

laughing.gif  No, that's a living breathing fish! And he's still alive and breathing. I put him back for next year!

I never checked the weather for the rest of the country but wow, just wow....  This was actually our third day in a row and tomorrow again they say.

Worst part is, I bet 2 weeks from now I will look at these shots and just shake my head at the change that has happened. This IS the prairies we are talking here!

Yes it was a great weekend and it's not over yet. They are calling for 25 today. I went for a ride out your way on Saturday. Took the wagon and went to Cathy"s aunt's 90 birthday in Altona. And happy belated birthday to you what a great way to spend it.

It really was a great weekend and it's not too bad today. I had both old cars out for a drive. That's why I never really mothball them as you never know, you might get nice weather even into November.

Was at Turkey Pt. on Lake Erie to take the boat out for the season. A sad day, as the weather was awesome. Warm and sunny, lots of boat traffic.

It's a cooker here again today, yup. Just taking a break from a bunch of painting, exterior trim, doors etc.

You came by and didn't stop? Just kidding, you knew we were gone.

And who's the rat that told you I got older???!!!

Seems to be nice across the country. Figured it may well be the last day for a top down ride, not bad for October though in Canada. Only about 5 months til spring.

26 this afternoon. Shed cleanup, painting trim and doors on the house and shed, washing the "snowblower tractor" in preparation. It was almost too hot to work in the sun because there was little to no breeze. Unbelievable!!!

Actually you reminded me when you wished Joel happy Bday. I see the other day you were born a day after him.
