64 or 65 Beaumont or GTO ignition switch Nut.

Hi again.  looking for a replacement nut for the ignition switch.  I found one on ebay but its' 35 bucks.  does anyone know of any that are less expensive?
at this point it may not matter and I'll have to "bite the bullet", but..
If i dont ask... sure enough, someone will say " oh yeah I have 4 of them, hows 20 bucks sound?"

Thanks again to everyone.

just posted some more photos of the restoration.

Kelly

Hey Kelly, I think I have one. I'll check later today and you can have it if I've got it.

I am sure I have one but getting it off without marking it up is tuff. Any tricks?

I usually put a few wraps of tape around them and then a pliers with close to the same profile.  They usually come off pretty easy.  By the way Kelly I found one and it looks pretty good.  I can take a picture later for you because I see you are maintaining a pretty high standard there.  Do we ship it east or west?

I actually modified a socket to fit.. kind of like a four wheel drive hub socket with the four tabs the extend past the socket..

thank you for the responses... thank you very much.

They werent knurled like the rest of the knobs on the dash right? I've never seen one with the straight knurl, but the restoration guy isnt confident that it was smooth. So I'm just trying to set his mind at ease by telling him it's just a smooth finish.

any input is always greatly appreciated.
