Is anyone here a Rogers VIP digital cable subscriber? I finally stepped up and bought an HD TV this weekend. We currently have "Extended Basic Cable" which is $59.23/month (non digital). If I understand the Rogers website correctly, Rogers VIP digital cable with 52 HD channels is only $60.49. I realize a digital HD box is required. Since I only really need HD/digital on one TV, what happens to the other cable outlet in the house? Will standard "extended cable" still work from that outlet? Do you own or rent your digital box?
u will get a digital cable box for your one tv, all the rest of your tvs should work as normal with the your regular cable hook up, i have the same one tv with digital cable and box and get like 200channels of nothing on, and the other tvs in the house have about 60 channels with just the regular cable hook up, i was told i can rent more cable boxes or buy them i suppose to make all the other tvs be digital and have all the chanels
Thanks. That's what I was hoping would be the case. What I really like with my new TV is the PC hookup. I've been watching Top Gear and it looks great!
