Beautiful. One of my favourite animals of all time.

I have a bunch of video of them, some of it including babies that keep poking their heads out of the den!

I set the video camera down by the hole and left it for 20 minutes because they woudn't come out if I stayed close by.

Also some great video of an adult fox digging in the snow, catching mice in the field right by the road. I love that.

The little kit was "supervising" me in my backyard one day. He was kind of awkward and dopey.

For some reason the foxes like to sleep in the most frigid weather, in the snow. They curl-up in the middle of an open field with snow blowing over-top of them!

There were Silver Fox farms all over PEI at one time.
Once in a while you see a "Patches".
Silver Fox + hump.gif Red Fox = Patches.

I love when they do their high looping pounce on a mouse ... too cool! Worth a 10 in olympic diving!

Did you notice the time frame on these pictures. I got this email earlier this week and showed it to my wife. Everything happened within 10 minutes, that's good time management. Supposedly was shot in Alberta, hour and a half south of Grande Prairie.  Seems like those Albertans are always in a hurry.
