Argh!  Figures this would come up when I was on holidays! cry '68 Beau 4 door was my first car and I hope to pick another one up some day.

Fixable and for $800!  no That one would be going back on the road if I had seen it first!

Edit:  Sorry to sound like sour grapes!  Just a frustrated knee-jerk reaction on my part after having scoured kijiji all summer hoping to find an affordable Beaumont project similar to my first car and here one pops up in my own province during a time that we had visitors and I wasn't watching the ads very closely... oh well, I guess sometimes things happen for a reason...

Congrats on the score and good luck with the wagon restoration! smile

Question...

Are those chrome Rally wheels? Are those factory?

I want to put Rally II wheels on the Astre wheel I do the axle and spindle swap. Those wheels are kind of neat.

The rims are actually spray painted silver. Sorry we are not sell any parts from this car at this time. We need to focus on the parts needed for our restoration. Thanks for your interest. We'll let you know what's available later.aww

No, I wasn't looking to buy your rims. I just had never saw silver rally wheels before.

I did an internet search and did find some recon chrome rallies. i think the stock ones look better now that i got a real good look. They are definitely so Pontiac.

Thanks a lot for thinking of me! smile

However, I was looking for a complete car at the time that could be made drivable with a little work.   I don't really have a place to keep one that has been disassembled that I will need to find a bunch of parts for.

I've cooled down on my old car aspirations for now until next year, when the weather is better.
