I Luv American Muscle but....this IMO is sexiest SuperCar evermade

I am a gear head and love my American Muscle but to me....this is the sexiest Super Car ever made....I always loved the Countach for its styling....until this car was made....Im sure each of us have a Super Car we would like to own!

This is the one for me, at least it gave Pontiac a name to steal.

I read that the koenigsegg has more downforce than its own weight, so theoretically it can drive upside down at speed! Any volunteers?

The Lambo Miuras are the exoctic that's always done it for me!.
Been in love w/ them since the 60's, should've bought one in the 70's when they were affordable, still lusting for one ever since but now they're out've reach even in today's less $ market!.

Then there's old racing cars..
Growing up down the road from Mosport I was lucky to experience more fun than anyone could ever have!.
As a kid I got to meet lots of drivers also sit in many cool and now famous cars!.
The McLaren CanAm cars were always my favourites!.

Also for me is my other love...old racing sleds!.
I fell hard for the sexy looking '75 RV245 Racers when they first appeared in fall of '74!.
Luckily I've ended up w/ a few of them over the years and my heart still beats quickly like seeing an old girlfriend whenever I look at one!.
When the 81/82 SnoPros appeared and the top of the winshield like 12" off the ground I thought they were THE wildest things I'd ever seen!.
Again I've been lucky to end up w/ a few especially considering their low production..

As far as street cars, the original XKE still does it for me (notwithstanding the devlish British underpinnings):

Sorry, I should've shown it in British Racing Green, eh?

And for race cars, sorry but I am going to have to go with one of my on-track contemporaries, all American road race bulging muscle with a wailin' aluminum big block that could thrash those pesky turbo Porches:

Anybody recognize it?

Tom & Mike, yes, sort of ... but when rules changed to allow tube-framed cars with a (liberally-interpreted) 'profile' ...

You've not quite identified this car ...

And I have to tell you, seeing it in person powering out of a corner ... ooooh, better than ... well, chocolate, anyway.

Always loved the GT40. Was very impressed when they made the new GT. I think it would have to be on the lottery wish list. (Also liked some of the Panterra's.)
Having said all of this...I'm not a Ford guy...

OK yes it's a Corvette

Pickett.jpg

Tube frame, lightweight body, Greg Pickett's supercar from the late 70's Trans-Am series.

Oooh the sound of that big block roaring up the front straight at Road America ....
