power glad to th350


Am going to swape my tranny from a 2 speed power glade to a 350 .Like to no if they have the same lenght and will my stock tranny cross member going to fit whiout and mod to it . The car a 65 beaumont convertible have a 350.in it also .

Do you have the TH350 already?

If so, measure the length of the tailhousing. If it's 6", they are the same length. If it's 9" or 12" you need to find a different trans (or cut your driveshaft).

I would go to the 4 speed auto. My brother changed his 64 to the 3 speed and now wants to go to the 4 speed auto

The TH350 should be a straight swap, no mods.  (it did for me anyway)
But like suggested above, I would go with the 700R. 
I am now doing that for economy ...hmm

Mine also went in with no modifications...., same propshaft & mounting bracket perfect. Just slight mod on the linkages.. (might be because rhd), linkage worked back-to-front...forward in reverse & backward in drive!

BTW 1965CS...
Nice work done on that 65..., she looks gorgeous!
