A little rear end help please!!!

I stripped the body off the 4 door frame and noticed that there are 2 support bars on the top of the diff that go to the frame and.....the other parts car I have only has one. So my question is...Whats the difference? and why?  And buy the way this is the nicest frame I have ever seen and I will be using it for my 2 door restoration!!

We had a discussion on this a ways back... The single upper arm diff is no doubt a 10 bolt? Just an option they use to do... The holes will be in the frame for the other arm.

I have a couple of '67 Grandes here with the same thing........ Just an option and lighter suspension thing I believe...

Yes, I learned that here too. Heavy duty and light duty suspension.

Am I correct in remembering that it's possible to have 2 upper arms with a 10 bolt if it has HD suspension?

My 4dr '7 Grande had 4 arms on the 10 bolt... then it went scarey and I installed a 12 bolt...

Ya...Carl.... but the Factory guy's heard about you!! and knew you were going to stuff a big block in it sooner or later so they were prepairing the poor car in advance.
