CAR ABOUT TO GO BACK INTO STORAGE AND WOULD RATHER SELL IT THAN PUT IT BACK INTO STORAGE MAKE ME AN OFFER
Rare 1973 Buick Estate Wagon
This car his been in the family since the day it drove off the assembly line. Starting with my fathers uncle who bought it in Saskatchewan and took it to California shortly after buying it. My father got the car in 1990 and used it very little in the summer months and always stored at the family farm in the winter months. It was in the fall of 92 when the car is put up on blocks and stored indoors until the summer of 99. During this time the car was looked after by my grandfather who ran the car a few times and year and made sure all fluid levels remained full. I got the car in the summer of 99 and had it flat bedded into the city where I had it looked at by mechanics who found nothing wrong with it. I drove it a few weeks out of the year in the summer to pull my camper. Every winter it would go back into storage out at the family farm. I used it this way up till 2005 when a bought a Jeep and used it to pull my camper. The wagon saw very little use and a few summers it never came out of storage. In the time Ive had it I have put a new alternator in it, air shocks in the back to help level the car when pulling the camper, true twin exhaust and new master brake cylinder just last year. Had the car safety in 2005 (have paper work) with 129779km on it and all it needed was a centre steering link, which I had them do. The car only has 130824km on it now so in five years I only put on 1045km!!!! The car is not safety at this time but I believe it would pass without any major problems. I have also with the help of my father find a lot of the paper work that came with the car when it was bought new by my great uncle. Im sure Im forgetting a ton of stuff but please feel free to call me at 204-803-0019 if you have any question or would like to view the car. Might be one of the nicest ones around if not the only one around.

Love it, always like these big Estate Wagons, cool duals exiting behind each rear wheel too.

Yes, I thought the price is good too, if it's as represented.

Mileage???? I don't think that word applies to this car!!!

I inquired about this car and it's a pretty good deal but there are some rust issues. Front fender's would have to be replaced. If I remeber correctly the woodgrain has the typical cracking that happen's over time. This would be an awesome "part's getter".

If nobody from Winnipeg steps up, I will volunteer to look at it but that may only happen this coming weekend as I think all my evenings are spoken for this week.

I like to look at stuff in the daylight if at all possible.

Cool Buick Clamshell but being a '73 the speedo/odo would be in miles not Km's..
Also he's gotta be adding his own 1 at the front as the odo didn't have this provision so is the reported 130824 his own converted to Km's figure or really miles or what?.
