That's a whale of a car!

It's a Pontiac 350. First tell tale sign is the alternator is on the drivers side and Chevy's are on the passenger side. As far as blue paint goes 1977 was the first model year for corporate blue. Apparently an orange batch got out of St, Catharines before the change in August 1976 and found there way in cars but corporate blue was the official colour starting in 1977.

That is basically a brand new car and it looks like it too.

Wow, that thing is incredible.

Almost scary to think what it may need for maintenance, such as brakes, hoses, etc.

I have been around Scotti's place in suburban Montreal. They have a ton of fantastic vehicles. This particular '75 LeMans and a similar vintage Ventura have been in their showroom for at least a couple of years. Pretty sure they are there on consignment.

Howard is John Scotti's classic car sales manager.

He will likely give you the straight goods and tell people if they really want to move it. After all two years plus is a long time to be sitting on a lot. smile

If it was priced right it wouldn't be sitting for sale for two years. Reality is just that. Law of supply and demand dictates, rules and is the final verdict. We are a small bunch of enthusiasts and most of us don't have the deep pockets we dream of. These "Malaise Era" cars of the mid- '70's just don't bring the big bucks, no matter how nice.

Scotti couldn't care less. He's a millionaire many times over. His classic car dealership is just a way to disguise his own obsession with collecting old cars. When they sell, if they sell he just goes and buys more.

But ... everything there is a runner. My boss was trying to set up a 'team building' exercise where we'd go test drive cars off the lot. I think it's about $500 a head he said. It fell through from lack of interest.
