Thanks jmont64 (Jerel) so here is a few more pics so all of you who are following this build can see the work being done .I striped down a 66 seat so i can do two things to it ,have it sand blasted and weld in a rod so it will be a 67 seat by Sat.The frame is at by buddy Troys place who owes The Sandman sand blasting ,ill pick it up tomorrow and paint it Satin Black before it goes to the upholstery shop next week.I also took all the dents out of the front bucket seat metal and primed them ,i will shoot them Satin black today and post pics later of them painted.Cheers Jimmy.i found another SATAN error ,LMAO.

Hello GLHS60 (Randy) here is how i did the 66 seat conversion to a 67.I took my 66 seat and i cut off the single bolt bracket on the left and right side (the one where the single bolt goes through to the floor ,Now in my case i had a 67 four door seat that i stole the 3/16 rods from that seat, they are identical to the hard top seat.I measured 5 1/8 inches from outer seat to were the center of the bracket would go and welded.I am including step by step pics of how i did it ,i hope this is good for you my friend . cheers Jimmy PS the last two pics are my 67 back seat ready to go to the Upholstery shop tomorrow

I just read this thread from beginning to end and it's 4 in the morning. Can anyone tell me how Jimmy is doing? And did he finish the car?
