1957 Pontiac 2 dr hardtop - $1000

This car is rough. Parts or serious resto. Its a factory v8/pg car with power steering.

Floors are there but have been badly patched. Trunk is real bad, quarters are full of bondo and rotted underneath. Frame is also soft and would need work in front of the drivers side kickup at least.

Surprisingly the roof isn't bad, or the hardtop doors. Trunk lid, drivers fender, and hood are all fixable, but are not bad.

Doors are good and so is all the glass with the exception of the drivers side dor glass which is badly cracked.

Interior is red and mostly there - wrong seats in the car. Dash, and door panels are pretty good. Wiring looks good.

It actually runs if you dump a little fuel down the carb. Engine is a 82' LG4 305 with all the original 57' accessories bolted up - exhaust manifolds, generator/PS pump, etc. I haven't checked the trans but was told its a Th700R4 sitting on a 69' camaro crossmember. Rear axle is a 8.5 10bolt camaro with unknown gears.

Car does have a good ownership. Most of the parts it needs are repro'd except the quarters and 1 fender. Lucky that these cars are just 57' Chevy's underneath.

$1000 obo

Or I will part it out if there is enough interest and crush whatever is unsalvagable.

I'd be interested in allot of the trim if I could get it shipped to the States at a reasonable cost.

I think one of the bumper caps is good and one only has the chrome holding it together.

Shipping the long quarter panel trim would be expensive due to its length, but everything else would be pretty easy.

The window trim is the same as a 57' chevy hardtop.

If you end up going the part it out route, I'd be interested in the front bumpers and grill, I do not have the lowers for mine , and my center grill is patched together.

If you were closer...I'd have to buy the whole car........ be a great donor for my hardtop !
