1955 Chev 1/2 Ton Step Side V8 4spd from California - $6750

Hi fellas,

the rain is coming and since the 54 Belair hardtop has new paint, this good old survivor truck needs a better home.

Here's the story - 1955 Chevrolet 3100 ½ Ton Step Side Pickup

Factory V8 4 speed. Original Black Plate California truck until 2009.

Runs and drives and has clear BC registration. Original unrestored truck with minimal rust.  The Cab has some rust in the back corners, but amazingly the fenders, doors and the box have virtually no rust.  The box walls and fenders are in excellent shape too. We figured this truck was used to haul kleenex since the body has so few dents.

It runs and drives, but needs a complete restoration - I want it to go to a good home.   If interested, please call me at (250) 709-5955

Nice looking 55 Dave. I'll keep my ears open for anyone looking for something like that and pass the info on.
I checked out a 6 cyl version of one of these north of Edmonton about 7 years ago ( A friend of mine bought it for $5 G and had it shipped back to NB) This one of yours looks to be in much better shape though.
How are the sales of your 68's coming along?

Thanks for the reply.  According to the 5-6-7 truck guys around here, this truck is in unusually good shape.

Bugger all for sales on the 68s - they are my first love, so there is not a huge panic.

In fact, I've started a bit of a lawn ornament program - I line up the 68s in a row.  Lucky that my wife likes it too.  I'll post a pic of the current situation.
