Here's my "old friend" 01 chevy w / 144000 kms on it!!!! Trading it in on the new Suburban. Having to delay delivery date, as bank wants 5 bus. days to clear a cheque from one of the biggesr Financial & Life Insurance co. in Canada [ in case it bounces?] Can't believe them??? said it's the banks policy, I said can't you call them or run a check on the cheque, NOPE, bank policy!!! Now I'm in a bind as I fellow called me & wants a car moved from Kitchener to Port Perry, I've taken the electronic brake unit & wiring out of p/up, so can't use the trailer till new one is delivered. That would be a good paying move, hope he can wait abit!!! Too much on my "plate right now, w/drywalling the garage, trying to find a painter thats available NOW not 2 mths from now, & buying this "Burban" STRESSED OUT or what???

My wife is a manager at one of the largest banks in Canada.  She says its frustrating for them too.  No other banks will verify over the phone anymore.  With all of the fraud out there its so frustrating for the legitimate people like you.  5 business days hold is standard now adays.  Good guys pay the price for the other idiots in the world.  Just like we need to remove our underwear before boarding a plane. biggrin

How much you get on that pick up in trade? What was wrong with it? Looks real nice.

Ray, got just under $6000 for it on trade!!! Had a rotor "thumpin" on the brakes that's it!! When the sales lady opened the door [I've dealt w/her before] she said to the manager " I should have known there was no need to look at this,it's as clean as a whip inside & out" she said the same thing when Janice got her Vibe. We keep our vehicles "clean" & it drives me NUTS to see my stepsons car with 2 wks worth of coffee cups thrown on the passengers floor & seat!!!!I did the brakes last yr. on truck, all new rotors pads & emm. shoes etc. guess one of the made in China rotors wasn't as good as the other three???? I'll be sorry to see it go, as it's been a great truck & tow vehicle, hope the "burban" is just as good!!!
