a friend sold them his "twenty year toy " black 70 Monte Carlo this year and I sold a customer's 86 Aries 'K' wagon to them--lets see what happens to them.
He said he wanted an orange SS Camaro-really Carl-don't sell it-you look good in it
I almost passed out watching the previews noticing both the new Camaro and what apppeared to be a 70 to 72 Monte Carlo.
Then I wateched the whole episiode. Kept crying out as the Camaro gets demolised. My wife told to shut up or she'd change the channel and watch Halloween II on ANC Fear Fest.
That was the hardest forty-eight minutes of TV I've ever watched. Wonder what the Camaro goes for a the end of the series?
That just wasn't right. Glad they're not destroying classics but a new 2010 Camaro!! How could they do that.

I haven't had the chance to watch it yet this year, but last years destruction of that Marlin pissed me off to no end, I have a Marlin and would love another (I used to have 2)

What really horrifies me is the American version. They've turned it into a freaking game show ... time and penalties .... pretty much rewarding bad driving and lack of caution.
Some people on the show just drive badly/crazy for the heck of it. Hot dogging, showboating. It's not a true representation of Canada's worst drivers. I've lived in Ontario, Quebec, and now PEI. All three provinces have very different driving styles. PEI definately has Canada's worst drivers out of the three. They drive like there is nobody else around them. They are the only ones on the road That coupled with there being absolutely NO police presence on PEI!

Were you the one who wrote in to Discovery about that car? Andrew Younghusband did a short video about the scores of angry people who wrote in, pleading for them to stop trashing old vintage cars.
I was surfing around looking for info on the Camaro, and found out it is already sold. Here is the info from thier site.......
To Wreck a Camaro One thing is clear: You, our viewers, definitely know your cars. To say you love them is to understate your pained reactions to the wrecking of this season's pristine 2010 Synergy Green Camaro.
Not hard of heart, our viewers have sent in dozens of enquiries looking to adopt the damaged vehicle, and provide it with a new (and more loving) home. We've received offers of purchase - even suggestions to auction it off. Our seasoned crew too felt your pain on this one (check out the Web Extras to the left).
However, the Camaro was sold at the end of the production.
Clicked on the link for the Camaro and pretty much cried. Then I see the 70 Monte Carlo and really got furious. If I was the owner of the Monte Carlo I couldn't watch this season and see what they do to my car.
These drivers just don't seem to give a damn. Why not let them wreck their own cars.

The drivers should have to let the other people on th show drive their car and visa versa. I would think that none of the the participants are "car people" so they probably wouldn't care.
