I checked the past posts, but can't find this, I just sanded off the paint on the pad of engine in 52 Torpedo back!! This is what I've got KO 411 C 3P Can't see the casting # on back of block yet, but I believe this is a 305 4bbl, possibly a truck engine??? Going to warm it up & do Comp. test but won't be using this or the turbo 350 behind it. Anybody interested in it???? Cheap!!! Talk to me!!!!

I am no expert but I see this as a St. Catharines engine same as Ghost says 145 HP 2bbl, for the 1978 G bodies and Omega so I suspect it was used in a Canadian car built either in Oshawa or St. Therese, most likely a Cutlass, Grand Prix, LeMans or Malibu.

So would this be "BOAT ANCHOR" material, or land fill, or maybe take it to scrap, gotta weigh about 50 bucks worth??? Won't dump it untill I have new one done!!! Think I've got a 327 300 hp on the hook if I can talk him into selling it. Sitting under bench all apart.

Well they were designed as a full efficient passenger car engine. I have posted build ups of 305's before but most people scoff at them. The L69 is a different story though and I have also posted about that performance 305 engine before.
