Still for sale. I'd love it except for that weird reverse slant rear window. It's ok on the high end Mercs, but they should have gone with the 63 Ford roof line for the low price Meteor line.

I think it's neat!  My wife's family had one back in the day and she said that it was the kids' favourite feature on the car.  I guess it kept it really cool on warm days with all that air flow with the breezeway window down on the highway + plus it was fun to make it go up and down! biggrin

I'd love to have that car in my driveway.

X2...my Dad bought a new 63 (first year of the slant back window) and 2 years later bought a 65 with the same option. The 65 was the car I learned to drive on back in the day. The 352 in the 65 was bullett proof. The slant back window was a great option, never had to scrape the window in the winter and during the summer it was a poor substitute for air con. Neat car, and a post to boot.....

Love the styling of these cars. Buddy had one years ago, looks like the same car, it was a maroon 2door post as well

I had a 63 and 64 both 4 door breezeways. I liked them both. Then a 64 Meteor convertible, Rangoon Red, red interior, 352 automatic.... I was in heaven. For a bit until I realized the FE 352 was pooched. Driving that car when I was 17 with the top down was a lifelong memory.
