Were hidden headlights available on a '69 CP?

Came across this thread on another forum showing a '69 Bonneville ragtop with hidden headlights.  Maybe my memory is failing but I don't every recall seeing hiddens on a '69 in the past.

That's not even a 1969 Bonneville grille. I don't think that is factory, the grille does not fit right so I think it is from a 1968/69 GTO.

This is a fabricated system - probably adapted from a 68 Grand Prix or Grande Parisienne. looks good on the 69 though.

I would have thought the hide-away headlights would have been on a few 69 Grande Parisienne's if not on Parisienne's.

They are not shown in any of the sales literature nor in the 69 manuals that I have seen. I don't think the full size got covered headlights except 67 & 68.

OK, that explains why I've never seen them on a '69 full size before.  Thanks guys.

Gotta say I do like the look!

No 1969 Pontiac full-siz cars got the hidden headlights, but somebody did a nice job of adapting the 1968 grille and setup into the 1968 loop bumper. I like it!

The hide-aways are a great look on that car. I've always liked the look of any car with hidden headlights. Cleans up the front end on most cars.
