Good eye Mark,  V8 options for 68 would be 290 ,343 or mid year a 390.

I like the 68 to 70 Javelin, a whole lot more than the updated bulkier body style.

Dumb it's not noted or pictured in the ad but sitting so high in the pics (especially for an AMC) it looks like a roller w/ no engine or if supplied it's loose?.

I have a bad memory of a Javelin. When I was a kid we had some strange neighbors who lived across the street from us. The crazy lady who lived there drove an orange Javelin. I swear one day when I was walking home from school (about grade 3) she tried to hit me. My parents didn't believe me...

I happen to think that of all the pony cars in 68-70, the Javelin was the best looking except maybe for the 69-70 Camaro and Firebird. Mustang, Barracuda, Challenger did not look as good as this car in my opinion.

I took a Javelin for a test drive. Those glass packs on it made it sound great, but then saw my first GTO and the Javelin was history. Still wouldn't mind a Javelin again to take for a boot.
