67 2+2 For Sale Revelstoke BC

This is a cool car I saw in Revelstoke about a month ago . The owner bought it from the original owners estate as they passed away. It has always been parked inside and has had one paint job. Looks really rust free exc for a loonie size bubble above the LH rr quarter. About 6 g's asking price. Add area code 250 if you want to phone the guy. Funny he put 1964 on the sign.

That would be a really nice driver the way it sits. Very reasonable price for a driver.

This might be a silly question, but what's the deal with the cable arrangement in the first and last photos?

There was a recall on hundreds of thousands of GM cars back then for motor mounts that could break.

I saw that car on my last trip back from Edmonton. It didn't look too bad, but some pieces of trim had screws through them to hold them on. Not a bad looking car though.

Thanks!  I've heard of that happening before, now it all makes sense.  An ounce of prevention....

So that was a factory/dealer installation?  Interesting....

It was a campaign/recall for the dealer. I have a lot of PSB's (product service bulletins) in the house... I will see if I can find the original.......

Cool!  I'd be interested in seeing it if it's easy for you to find.  I love learning "new" stuff about these cars! smile

In Australia the cable keep the engine from falling out of the car, since they were all Down Under
