Why not go with something different. Go to your local salvage yard and look for a GMC or Chevy Truck with a 5.7 or 6.0 Vortec. These engines are rated from 255 HP to 345 HP with 365 to over 400 ft. lb torque. In fact the 5.7 Vortec is sold as a crate engine call the Ram Jet 350 advertised as 300 HP or more. These motors are plentiful but they are not cheap, however you get 300 honest HP and you can GO. The 6.0 sorts of looks like a Big Block too while the 5.7 is traditional small block.

I know a lot of you will say what the heck is Ray saying after what he wrote about the 62 Laurentian and it's six. Two different scenarios imo.

ohh i understand.....french speeking people
great ....!!!
love being a canadian with comments like that
and you seem not to know what you are talking about

first, there is no law forbidding english signs, there is a law forbidding english ONLY signs since it is a bilingual country, the signs can be in both languages

second, i have been to EVERY province in Canada and i have never seen a bilingual sign except for in Québec and at the entrance of Ontario (leaving Québec), so you tell me who would get lost driving in the rest of Canada

so stop the Québec and french speaking hating PLEASE (it's not the place) and lets just keep it on enjoying talking about cars

and you should at least once come visit our province and you will see that it is not so bad, we have nothing against english speeking people...Québec separatist is long gone (this is how i see it)
