Anybody out there looking for a nice tight tilt column for said car.I was out looking for parts for my 'Chief and I noticed this column sitting in a corner amongst other tilts.Just thought I would throw this out there for anyone in need of one.

Sorry guys, the fellow that has it is asking $200.It's black, tight and has the levers along with the wheel.Over all it's in real good shape for the year.Might need a quick paint job just to clean it up and change the ignition. He has other tilts but I'm not sure what they are for. This one caught my eye and I was curious what he wanted for it as it's been awhile since I've seen one.He also has a few other Impala parts laying around, bumpers, hoods, fenders, clusters, blah, blah, blah.

I know,'66-'68 fullsize 4 speed/auto w/console tilts are hard to come by.I will keep my eyes open as you never know.I'm always looking for the rare stuff like that.I know of a '68 Caprice BB 2 dr hdtp sitting in BC.The motor (396) went into a pickup many years ago and the car has been sitting for at least 15 yrs since. The fellow who use to own it got killed in a snowmobile accident in '96 if I recall correctly.Other than the motor missing, everything else is there. And of course it was a nice dark green, buckets, console (auto),12 bolt and for the life of me I can't remember if it had a tilt or not! Next time I'm back home that way I'll do some inquiring. And then there is an Ididit tilt column.I put one in my 'Chief and you can't tell only by the signal/tilt levers.I can't seem for the life of me to find any mid '60's fullsize Pontiac levers anywhere. If I'm correct they are of a bullet style.I'd rather have them than what I've got now, machined aluminum levers.
