Lost a good friend this week

Reg Nelson a long standing friend and member of our local car club Three Hills Street Freaks, Central AB Ford Club, passed away last week due to a brain tumour at the young age of 47. Reg was Mr Mustang, Mr Shelby etc. He had some amazing rotissarie restorations on 2 67 KR500 Shelby's etc. A huge funeral held in Trochu Ab. with a great showing of his car friends, it was like a show and shine out front as most the guys brought their cars out in honour of Reg. Our car club did an honour guard and it was an honour to do that. He was a good man and totally immersed in this sport.

Also sorry to hear of his premature passing. Again shows how brief life can be. They say you are only one breath away, live it that way.

I'm sorry to hear that Elroy. It's never any fun.

When it happens to me, I try to tell uplifting/funny stories about the person who is gone. Memories can be a lot of fun.

Ya Man, sorry to hear that. I've lost a few this yr. as well & it's not easy!! I'm 63 now & using each day to it's fullist, cause you never know do you????

Sorry to hear of you loss. Life sure sucks some days. I have been at the hospital for the last 3 days with my cousin in ICU. She just turned 40.

Sorry for your loss,it has been 10 weeks tonight since i got the call  that my best buddy at work passed away,went home had a smoke and a beer then dropped dead of heart attack...47 yrs old...been a sucky couple months .Take care......

Sorry to hear about the loss of a friend Elroy. Very sad to hear about young people passing before it seems time.

Remember to live in the moment guys. Don't dwell on the past or worry about the future. The greatest gift we can ever get is called the present, so enjoy it well you can.
