OZ'65 (taco'65&'67)an old post

Hi Budie from Oz.Just read some old posts that you had a '65 parisienne convertible.I am looking at buying one just out Melbourne, factory RHD. Did you find out if there was only 33 made World wide or imported into Australia? Do you have any photos to compare console?Or should it have a split front bench seat being a column 2 speed glide? Have put some photos on blog under 2 door pontiac parisienne convertible.Hope you can help thanks Budgie

It's Budgie answering own question. I have talked to OZ 65, 1 of 48 imported to Australia. It is a small world, he saw the car about the same time as i did. He brought a tow bar off a car in the guy's same shed.He has done the Canadian history service search on his convertible, and i am waiting for mine. Believe to be original 327/glide. Should have black top,and split front bench seat, not the HK GTS Monaro (69) buckets and console.Gold dash very poor condition.Rag top stuffed, but rest seems ok. Have already had it started,2nd time in 25 years!
