Tucker #10

I have seen a few stories of 1948 Tucker automobiles in the past. This is the most recent story I have seen. This car was discovered in Auburn, Wa, about 15 miles from Tacoma. I worked in Auburn for 24 years a never heard of this car.

Harold Lemay is mentioned in the article and after he passed away his widow Nancy purchased Tucker #7 in California at the Peterson Museum auction for $335,000. Nancy stated "Harold said his collection would not be complete without a 1948 Tucker".The car is presently part of the LeMay Family Collection and the LeMay Museum which opens late next year in Tacoma, WA.

They are a very unique and interesting car indeed. I seen one in a museum years ago, have read the story, seen the movie, etc.
I still think they are cool, but ugly!!!
