Did anyone else see the episode of Gears last night..they did a test of the Bugatti Veyron. The shows driver averaged 417km per hour in 2 passesbiggrin and Bugatti's driver averaged 431km in 2 passesbiggrinbiggrin....holy c@#@&& thats fast for a stock vehicle with A/C and a cd player.

I caught it. Good episode. I can't believe that car is over $2 million. 20000 british pounds for a set of tires! That's about $32000cdn!

I wonder what the insurance would cost for one of those????Not that it would matter because I couldn't afford the tires, let alone the rest of the car..

My poor old Camaro, shuts off the fuel at 155 MPH   disbelief

Interesting that Top Gear is called Gears in Canada. I was on one oif their shows about 18 months ago.

Regrettably there has been at least one Veyron totalled in the UK...they have to be sent back to the factory for rebuild. If you need to know how much the insurance is, you can't afford one!

That's the one..a businessman's son borrowed his dad's car to show off to his friend and cooked it. It was in the papers and you can just imagine the response from dad! I am sure that the swear words turned the grass brown for miles around!
