That looks nice. Anyone know how these little cars performed with the 326 ? You'd have to figure pretty darn well on acceleration, might be front heavy and hard on brakes and steering though.

50 50 weight distribution, they perform well, its just parts are hard to get, and if you wear
out certain items on the transaxle you have to get another one, as for brakes, there small diameter drum all around and they don't stop well, and parts for these cars are scarce.
if you upgrade the motor at all you'll blow the transaxle, they can't be raced with them.
if you want something different though this is the way, but be prepared for parts issues.

My brother in law had a 67 Firebird with a 326 four speed and I remember it performed very well at least with him behind the wheel. Boy could he bang through those gears.
