Picked it up from dealer this afternoon. 1st. problem was it had "truck" plates on it & I asked that it have Car plates, told them to get them off & get the ones i asked for!!! Had to go to LIC. office with sales person,& sign more forms,then the cost came up & i said it's your mistake I'm not paying!!!Then came the delivery,showing me all the features [I needed that, too many options] then a 1/2 hr demo of ONSTAR & talked to the people there on the speaker. Nice feature & I'll likely keep it as I was going to get a 2nd. cell phone,but this will cover that as well. This unit rides a smooth as any thing,for a 4X4 [never had a 4x4 before] the 5.3 has "BALLS" & I'm sure it will tow well & man is it "POSH" inside!! This cost me more than I paid for the house back in 72

Mine was $65,000 OTR back in 99, I am sure you're looking at $85,000 now.

Welcome to the world of new style Suburbans!!      

Ours, is a rocket with (all aluminum) 5.3 V8    its hauls the mail!     
My 5 foot nothing wife, can parallel park it....
You sit up and enjoy the view  
ours will pull 24 mpg (Imperial)  at 70  and 20 MPG at 80, when I drive 401

All Aluminum is called  LC9  ........    

Cast iron /aluminum heads called LMG......

both make Suburban think, He is a Corvette   winkwink

When I got mine, Todd was on the light side in Ingersol GM  and he got me print out of history of my SUB ..  
Mine was from Colorado and was former daily rental  42,000km  List $55.000 bought for 31,500  (Mar 08) 2007 truck    

We bought it and love love love it.....  
we will be driving this until 2020 or more..... 

The all aluminum Lump  thinks its a Corvette motorbiggrin and it will pull as hard as a big block from 50 up  til you run out of nerve  wink
