Daughter #1 got undergrad #1 and undergrad #2, she is on her own now. She's 26 and just moved out last month. Daughter #2 started undergrad #1 and dropped out. She went back again and has 2 more years of our funding left. She got engaged last month, wedding in 2011, moved in with fiance last week-end and somehow she's still on my payroll. Go figure. I tried to give her $10k cash and loan forgiveness last month to call everything square. Told her to go to Vegas and get married and save the rest for a downpayment on a house. She wouldn't take the envelope. Wedding estimate is 200 people @ $150 per head.

Freedom 85 might mean 2085.

You guys are depressing me. I have this to look forward too in about 3 years (University that is. NOT a wedding!) My son is an honors student however I keep telling him to try a little harder in order to win a scholarship!biggrin

I hope they are still letting Canadians in Canadian Universities by then Todd.

My brother managed to scam Harvard into giving him his PHD for free and pay him as a TA for the 2 years to cover living expenses in Boston.
