I'm partial to the golds. Runner up would have to be Matador Red, followed by Warwick Blue. Black stripes on the gold cars and white stripes on red & blue cars.
'64 Parisienne CS "barn find" - last on the road in '86 ... Owner Protection Plan booklet, original paint, original near-mint aqua interior, original aqua GM floor mats, original 283, factory posi, and original rust.
well its getting some ideas before finally purchasing some paint,im pretty sure on limelight and i know its my decision in the end and what i like ,but its cool to see what others own choices would be .
i also like the crystal turquoise maybe not on my car but it looks great ,
Fred, I think limelight is the way to go. It was a new colour then and it reflects the era perfectly.
I did the poll and chose Antique Gold, I was very surprised to see it as the number one choice so far by a large margin. I'm with you on Crystal Turquoise, great colour too.
Every time I see a '69 Beaumont in Antique Gold it just looks right. Most of the ones I have seen are Customs so maybe it has to do with the trim that is on the car. Antique Gold with a black vinyl top looks good as well. I suppose it must be the body style that dictates what looks good. We had a 70 Tempest in limelight or whatever it was called in 1970. Seemed to be a popular choice on A bodies then.
I haven't chimed in until now because I like all of them. If I had to choose, this is my short list (and it isn't very short) Limelight Mayfair Maize Antique Gold Crystal Turquoise Matador Red Black
