I might consider doing something like this next year. There is a park behind my house that would lend itself well to a meet. My neighbor is deputy mayor and has said in the past it shouldnt be difficult to get permission to use it. The only clincher is insurance- it's expensive.
Why would you need insurance? people dont get insurance for family reunions? You worry to much If every one just happens to show up on the same day what are they going to do kick us out!LOL I will be security if the fuzz come around ill do a big burn out on my bike and draw them away from the party!LOL I actually use to do that for a few buddy's of mine at the end of the night when everyone was leaving the bar I didnt drink and my chopper always got the cops attention! what we do when we are young and dumb!
just got off the phone with them. They no longer take reservations however they said if I call about 30 minutes prior they will start to hold a large section for us.. What do you guys think? Should we stick with Angels or pick another restaurant?
They did the last time however they have changed their policy, apparently due to no shows. He assured me we'd sit together so I guess we'll stick with them. We can all scream loud enough if they don't come through for us!
It is a busy place however with 15 of us spending $$ I think they'd let us hang around for a bit. There is also Cora's (WEBSITE). Perhaps I should give them a call and see if they take reservations. Their food looks good but I don't think they have anything like a $4.99 breakfast special.
It looks like we'll stick to Angels. I called around and no one takes reservations. I'll call before I leave to give them a heads up that we are coming. If anyone gets there before me tell them you are with the group of 15. The weather looks decent enough too.
