I parted a write off 283 car with that interior. Very very nice colour in my opinion. Neat car, too. 283 2 barrel, 12 bolt 3.31 posi and an AM/FM radio!

Wonder how many people ordered with the heavy duty three speed. Anyone seen one in a Grande Parisienne? Would this be a floor shift or column shift item?

How about four speeds ordered with the other engines such as the 283? Any out there?

Just askin'! smile

I've never seen a 3 speed manual GP. Wonder if they made it?

Years ago I road tested a 327 4 speed 66 Grande Parisienne that was for sale. And I didn't buy it because I thought it was too rusty.......

Duh.......................

I'm pretty sure you could have ordered the h.d. three speed on the Grande Parisienne. Likely very few or none left the factory that way.

The 327 - 4 speed that you test drove was an interesting one. How did it go?

Oops I may stand corrected, check out this post from earlier this year.

( I know it is a '67 but the question is : Was it a three speed stick?)

Did anyone see this particular car? Three Speed stick in a Grande Parisienne. Hmmm.                                                                                                              smile

The test drive went well, but I was used to a 427 in front of that stick!

I still can't believe I didn't buy it, rusty or not. Rarity has to be worth something...
