The big one!! Boss hogg deluxe!! They are getting rare!!8.2L 500 cid V8, 365hp and 535 ft lbs torque, car spent years indoors and was originaly a texas car, VERY solid body and underside, ( i can put the car on my hoist so buyers can view the underside) Car runs well, all factory manuals, brochures, service book, and paint chip included. floats down the road and gets its share of attention! If that's not rusty, and it looks solid, should be worth more than asking price. I've had one of these in a hardtop years ago. Very nice car. The interiors take you back to the 70's in high style!

I wonder if the pictures are current? It mentions it's a Texas car and seeing the truck behind it, I'm thinking the pic's were taken when the car first arrived.

I called, it's on an acreage outside Calgary. The owner is away for the weekend, I might go see it early next week. I talked to him around 7:00 pm my time, he said he had a flurry of calls in the previous hour, including someone from the east coast. I wonder if it was someone that saw it here.

That's a pretty unique colour combo, I can't recall seeing a green one before. Super value there and those 500 cubers are a blast to pilot. 1970 was the pinnacle of Horsepower at 400 but 365 ain't nothing to sneeze at. I wish you good luck Clint.

My dad had a 1970 Sedan de Ville, and a 1971 Coupe de Ville. Both were green, but I think darker than this one.

I looked at the car briefly the other day. It's all there, and solid, but it'd be a big job to restore. Top has a patch in it, seats are not torn but they are worn, front drivers fender has been repaired with bondo. Engine started right up, etc.

Funny thing, the engine compartment is so big that big 500 cube engine looks tiny in there.

It'd be a good car for someone who wants to drive around in a big ragtop every now and then.

There are a lot of guys like me who'd be content to drive it around and repair as you go if and when the spirit moved them. Is that the sort of car it is Clint?

Yes it is Ray. He said the top worked, and 3 of the power windows worked except for the passenger door. Some of the paint on the trunk was peeling, and as indicated the interior was worn but not torn. The dash was intact, but interesting enough I found the glove box lock on the floor. It's not smashed up or rotted out, but could use some TLC. The engine had some tappet noise, sounded like from the passenger side head.

It's presently registered in Alberta, and sounded like the previous owner brought it up from Texas and had the out of province inspection done. I didn't dig into it too far, but sounded like the brakes needed to be done, etc. I had to do the same thing bringing the green 2+2 in from BC, so if it passed Alberta theoretically it shoud be close to passing in Ontario.
