PEI Picker : )

I put an ad on Used-PEI and KiJiJi last week for '64 Parisienne or '64 Impala parts or parts car.
I guy on the Island gave me a call and said come get some parts for cheap.
He used to own a '64 Parisienne, Danube Blue on White and had some pieces kicking around for years and years.
He now owns a '62 Comet rag ... Rangoon red on red ... beautiful. He also has one killer collection of old oil cans, gas pumps, air pumps, signs, old parts, and other cool automotive collectibles.
I'm going back to see him, and give him some stuff he'll like.

The hood will make a great Super Duty hood biggrin The dash was really rough!

Darryl, is that a 2bbl. carb. & intake ??? everytime I do a engine with one of those I tell the owner "It's against my "relgion" to put that back on the engine!!! Either Go Big or GO HOME!! as they say. Looks like you got some usefull parts!! [other than the 2bbl.]

Yep Pete, 2 barrel intake ... Made In Canada eh!. I'm going to strip the intake down and clean it up. The carb is toasted (I'll just keep some parts off it).
My car has the same original set-up, and I already have a spare 2 barrel (date-coded) for my car. I guess I'm a pagan!biggrin

The good thing is, this guy might have a line on a few more parts (his brother) for me. Parts for ANY older cars on PEI are hard to find ... they are out there, just hard to find.

Dave, American Pickers is a cool show ... I wish I could do that for a living.
There is going to be a Canadian Pickers show on TV in the future.
