Just wondering about a Chevy engine in one of these as noted above. I didn't think these nose job cars were made in Ste. Therese or Oshawa so a Chevy engine?
I had this one 3 years ago, sold it in a weak moment, the new owner had the docs done and told me it was one of 88 ??
It had a chevy engine, buckets and console?
The new owner told me only 88 built ?? maybe that took into account buckets / console ,color? I never seen the docs from GM...... the car above had no options to speak of other than Power Brakes and Power Steering, buckets/ console.
maybe he told me that to make me feel bad for selling it ?? who knows.

For what its worth I remember seeing a stock Quezal Gold 1972 Lemans 4-door sedan (post type) with the complete 1972 GTO front clip in Florida back in the early 1970s. It did not look modified in any way.
I remember seeing a 1971 Lemans Sport convertible here in Scarborough back in 1991, red with white interior & black roof, 350 V8, T41 front end & stock wheel covers. Being a convertible it would have been built in Pontiac, Michigan with a blue block Poncho V8.
