Q-jet air cleaner assembly measurement inquiry?...

I currently have what appears to be a Carter 9625 with a 5" air cleaner assembly opening.  Would an assembly for a 4bbl.q-jet fit?  (Or is the q-jet opening indeed a smaller 4.5"?)

Thx in advance.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
As per Carls comment, is there any reason why an air cleaner assembly from a 67 327 4bbl q-jet wouldn't fit on my Carter 9625 that has a 5" air cleaner assembly opening? ...

Some OEM air cleaners may require some trimming at the front on the extra dimple, crimping, whatever you want to call it but otherwise as mentioned I think it would work.

Is this an OEM air cleaner or aftermarket?

I guess it's possible you may have some kind of linkage, fuel inlet or fuel line interference as well.
