The 348 will be perfect in there!

The black and white will look great but as you know the body work will have to be pretty good.

I'm right in the middle of the body work on mine. These early sixties cars must be some of the hardest to get right. All the creases and straight lines in the body make the bodywork a real challenge.

Great choice on the 348

Nothing looks cooler than an old school big block  when you open the hood

I've got a 250 hp 348 in my black chevy 61 bubbletop

Here is a few more pics. Hoping to get the car back next week. Then it will come of the frame so I can send it to get blasted and powder coated. Have a 4 wheel disc brake kit coming for it so once the frame is back it will be time to start putting it back together.

This car is going to be so cool when it's finished.

Do you expect to find any hidden surprises on the body when you lift it off the frame?

I saw this car this afternoon. The pictures don't do it justice.

The guy working on this car is doing a VERY nice job. I can't believe the transformation from when I saw it apart in the winter...

Impressive Vern. Hard to believe that's the same car.

Looks like your deal with that fellow went very well.

I know it's been a while but I finely got back at it. So the frame is all apart just a few bushing to beat out yet. Spent 2 hours getting 1 out today only 9 more to go. Then its off to get blasted and powder coated. The ball joints and tie rod end had never been changed still riveted in.

Igot the rear bushings out myself and then tried the front. I fought with them for an hour then took to my local machine shop .I have delt there many times.I was told $30 an arm so I left them there. When I picked them up I was billed $30 per bushing. I wasn't happy, my friend at counter questioned the price, didn't change .The guys got a little better christmas bonus.
