First off I would send Cathy for her pilots licence and buy her a nice little plane. Next a place it the country with a shop that looks like a old garage and what ever house Cathy wants. Ounce the garage is done hire the guy that works on our vehicles to take care of the cars I buy.

I'd give 10-15 million away ($100,000.00 to the top 100 posters CP )...and set up investmants for my kids and build a large building, that looked like a Modern Chicken barn...and have two chickens for tax purposes.. I would have a elevator for the 2nd floor I would buy every Cdn Pontiac that is for sale... and a 67 Corvette and go on a cruise and have a spot in a warm place... and look into this sister wives thing lol
I'd fix up everything around me and in my life! (family, friends, house, car, garage, etc. etc.)

id donate over 1miilion or more to finding a cure to cluster headaches(i have these), a mil to cancer research, million to CANADIAN children that have been abused, homeless or with an ailment. take care of my family, retire, and make sure i gave to those whom are in need. My fiance and son would be spoiled obviously and formyself...? good question. MOney dont buy happiness. I buys reassurance. with that money comes more headaches than you had before. i know 2 people that came into LARGE cash. 1 is a philanthropist and the other got real wise and sat on it for a year. iam sure both got calls from friends they havent heard from in 20 years, and people wanting not needing. even though these people i know have millions. They still put their pants on like eveyone else. I personaly hope if it happened to me Id still be the same person inside or be a better person for giving and helping. and yeah id have a kick azz car collection.....the 30 mil isnt about me.....its about giving back...just my 2 cents
10. Stop by work and start off by saying "Hi Dough-head..let me speak to Sh(*)t for Brains"! 9. Buy a super secure Condo unit in a High Rise Apartment somewhere in d/t Calgary. 8. Purchase a hanger at Springbank Airport. One that holds a Pilatis PC12 turbo-prop, an Aston Martin DBS, a Prevost H3-45 Custom Converted Marathon Motorhome, my Daytona Truck, and my GOAT. 7. Take my GOAT to Classic Performance for a complete resto (I'll be too busy travelling). 6. Put The Cave up for rent at a resonable price to someone who needs a little help. Comes with a used Vibe. 5. Give enough money to the Girl Friend so she can overhaul her 1912 house she loves, quit her thankless job, and travel with me and/or her girl friends to all the places she has wanted to go. 4. Start ordering my Prevost Motorhome, my Pilatis PC12, a CTS-V for a winter beater and my Aston Martin. 3. Join a Gym and a flying school (to get current again). 2. Start growing a beard so no one recognizes me on the street. 1. Give enough money to the Folks to make them comfortable as possible and apologize as I won't be seeing them for the next while, I'm travelling!
Not that I've ever given the "winning a lottery" concept any thought

I'd ensure my family was looked after, donate to my favorite charity, buy a bunch of secluded land and build a nice timber frame home with a view of water and have a large fully equipped shop. Id do a frame off resto on my Laurentian with an emphasis on "sleeper performance". I'd buy a few cars from my wish list and do a lot of traveling. I'd also take the promoting of Canadian Poncho to a whole new level!
After looking after family and freinds I would buy a place in the country and build a big work shop and drag a lot of cars home to work on. I would also look for that 69 Beaumont wagon built on June 25th.
Also would look for a white 66 big block four speed two door sedan Pontiac.
O ya, Tod would get one hell of a donation.

Would give to my family, make sure all are comfortable, then buy a bunch of land, with a big barn and a 12' high fence around it. Of course it would be a fully insulated barn, full of any car that caught my fancy. I'd probably live in a mobile home, and were a T-shirt that reads "Trailer Trash" LOL Of course, all my friends at CP would be invited over anytime!

Like most people, look after family first, then look after some very nice fellow employees so they could retire comfortably, oh ya QUIT my job and leave them with no staff, LOL. Build OOPs Have someone else build a monster motor for my 64, then go shopping with the wife to buy what ever we wanted.

Hey Carl I have this one printed up and hanging on my wall. Its as solid as any of the retirement plans I have anyway.

#35 at the moment
Excellent plan! I will need a automotive / business advisor, so I'll put you down for x 2
It appears that I am a "non-winner". Actually, I am a winner. A great job, two places to crash, a fun fleet to play with, and the ability to run into someone on the street almost every day to say "Hi" and to say that person is my friend. A lot of those things would have changed if there were 30,000,000 in the bank.

You are a winner thinking that way. Actually, I share your sentiment. People who know me often hear me say I am rich but not in the sense the world thinks of rich.
And for the record, I have never bought a lottery ticket and never plan to buy a lottery ticket...
