It is true we all do have "Ponchalitis" but more than that we share a friendship and passion for old and classic cars. Try posting a Ford or Plymouth etc...on other web sites devoted to specific brands.
My family thinks I am having a mid-life crisis! Turns out I've always had the passion, but couldnt afford to pursue it until mid-life, after raising 3 kids and paying for university and life in general. (I hope I'm at mid-life at 45). They will realize thats its only going to get worse and will end when I end. I feel sorry for any man without a passion(passion for beer and boobies doesnt count). Too many men (IMO) live just to appease their partner. If that makes me crazy then call Nurse Ratched and book my lobotomy cuz I'm riding into town on a backwards donkey swinging a bag of dead chipmunks singing camptown races.
In all seriousness, keeping Cindy happy is Priority #1, but, even if she wont admit it, she respects me more for being my own man, as opposed to being her puppet.

Mrs. 67rag396 needs constant reminders that the hobby is a journey, not a destination. She reminds me of the line in my signature. Then I remind her that it's like shoes (there can't be enough).

Heres how they think 1. You used to go to work. 2. You retire and stay home. 3. She (they) prays for you to leave. 4. You find a automotive hobby. 5. She (they) pretends, its a good idea. 6 They don't care, as long as we go outside away from them..

I couldn't agree more. It's the having of a Canadian Pontiac that brought us all here but we all seem to have a deep appreciation of all things automotive. This is a true "car guy"(includes car girls too) site as opposed to a car owners site as some are. We all seem to have a passion and understanding for cars in general. I LOVE this place, so glad I found it, proves I'm not the only one with this crazy lovable desease.
