1963 Pontiac Full Size Cruise Control Unit

Appears to be complete, not sure if it is for a US or Canadian car $250 Surrey, B.C.

Howdy, is this thing complete?  It might be mssing a vacuum pot.  Where does the control head actually mount?

I know you could get one of these in 66 as an underdash mounted thing but I didn't know they were available in 63.

If it is factory, I might be very interested.

It's not correct for 66 Ken. I've seen those and this is different.

I had an original NOS GM unit for a 64 Impala. Don't remember what it looked like. Don;t think I ever took it out of the box. Any way the guy I sold it to installed it on his Impala SS and said it worked great

That one had a wheel similar to this unit that protruded just above dash to the left of the column. My roomate had one for a 63 Impala years ago.

Cool piece!

Ken, the one for your's is identical to the 66 Caprice unit.

I had one years ago. I can't even remember where it went but it's long gone, sorry.

It is definitely a 63 unit made by Perfect Circle, I saw an owners guide on ebay that showed it. The actuator goes in the left corner of the dash bezel. It is electric, there is a cable from the unit under the hood that goes to the carb and a switch for the brake pedal to shut it off. There are no vacuum ports.

Thanks guys, i don't know about looking too hard on ebay at the moment. I just noticed a big pool of water just outside my foundations where my cistern line runs in. It has the look of an expensive fix somehow.
