Here's the picture you wanted of "poor man's hoist" the ramp part is 6'ft long w/ a 1 ft. flat section meeting up with the long part. Hope you can see the reinforcement blocks underneath, same is done under the long part as well. I have "stop" blocks at frt. of long runners [just in case] & you can just use the ramps if need be, but I do screw a pc. of block on them to stop going over the edge!!! The thing I like about these is it doesn't tie up a bay, when not in use I just "roll them" to each side of garage on small dolly & they are out of the way, not like a 2 post hoist where it's in the way most of the time!!!! I also put a "rub" rail down the side 2x6 & the rest is made from 2x 12's
